Jr. Rebels Camp offers a diverse curriculum for children ages 5 to 12. The culmination of various activities will allow campers to challenge themselves and embrace new experiences.

Learn to Lead - 260924

Learn how to lead climb and belay with Outdoor Adventures! Join us on the last Thursday of each month for a 3-hour crash course on lead climbing. This course will cover clipping, climbing, and belaying at our rock wall.

Dyno Competition - 261023

Join UNLV Outdoor Adventures for our first ever Dyno Competition! Utilize dynamic movement to jump, swing, and dive across the wall to victory as you compete against other climbers in this fast-paced competition style. Not interested in jumping? We will have other fun events happening at the same time, such as a grip strength competition, hanging competition, and games like climbing twister and tic tac toe on the wall!

Event starts at 5 pm and ends at 8 pm.

Cost $5 for SRWC Members with current climb pass, $30 for non-members

Canoe Emerald Cove Reschedule - 261025

Celebrate the fall season with Outdoor Adventures on a relaxing canoe excursion to the beautiful Emerald Cove on October 10! Paddle approximately 4 miles round-trip across the Colorado River's striking emerald-green waters while taking in breathtaking canyon views. This trip welcomes both beginners and experienced paddlers—no previous canoeing experience is necessary! Transportation, canoeing equipment, paddling instruction, and food are included.

Zion Horizons: Camping Weekend - 261113

Join us for an incredible three-day adventure as we explore the world-renowned Zion National Park! Over the course of the trip, we’ll hike some of Zion’s most iconic trails—including the Emerald Pools—as well as discover hidden gems and less-traveled routes within the park. Evenings will be spent around the campfire with warm food, s’mores, and plenty of time to connect with fellow students under the stars. American Red Cross Certification Courses - 27ARC

The American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course prepares participants to recognize and respond confidently to a wide variety of medical emergencies. Taught strictly to the highest standards of the American Red Cross, this course incorporates the latest emergency cardiovascular care (ECC) science and practical care techniques.

Participants will learn to handle first aid emergencies (such as burns, cuts, sudden illnesses, head/neck/back injuries, and environmental emergencies) as well as life-threatening cardiac and breathing emergencies across all age groups including adults (12+ years), children, and infants.

Upon successful completion, participants will receive an official 2-year digital certification in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED via email.
