SRWC ADULT Group Swim Lessons- OCTOBER SESSION - SWIM1026AD

What to Expect

Our Adult Beginner Swim Lessons are open to adults (18+) of any skill level, whether you are completely new to the pool or looking to build on prior experience. Fearful swimmers are warmly welcomed!
Classes meet twice a week for 45 minutes on Tuesdays and Thursdays ($90/month). This program is the most affordable way for adult SRWC members to conquer fear, gain water confidence, and learn essential swimming skills in a supportive environment. (Active SRWC Membership required)

Our Adult Intermediate Swim Lessons run at the same time as the Beginner Swim lesson. Designed as the natural next step after our Beginner class, the Adult Intermediate course takes place in our Lap Pool for swimmers ready to move beyond the shallow end. This class is ideal if you can already swim short distances unassisted and want to focus on swimming full laps comfortably and independently.

Lessons focus on improving stroke efficiency in Freestyle and Backstroke, introducing proper Breaststroke technique, and mastering deep-water skills like treading water. By combining stroke development with deep-water safety, this class provides the ideal bridge to regular lap swimming.

What You’ll Learn

You will build comfort in the water at your own pace through guided instruction, peer support, and step-by-step exercises.
Beginning with foundational skills, like putting your face in the water, floating, kicking, and gliding, the course gradually builds your abilities from wherever you are starting. Lessons take place in a zero-pressure environment where your instructor can easily modify exercises to fit your personal comfort level. You are always welcome to adjust an exercise or take extra time whenever you need it!

Please arrive 10 minutes early for your scheduled class. We ask that you rinse off before entering the pool.
