What to Expect
Next Wave Rebels - Level 3 is for swimmers (age 6-12) who have graduated from our Saturday Next Wave Rebels - Level 2 class. At this level, participants already possess stroke proficiency in front crawl and backstroke, a fundamental understanding of breaststroke kicking, and the ability to tread water independently for 1 minute. They are comfortable in deep water and can swim independently.
What They'll Learn
Next Wave Rebels - Level 3 swimmers will continue refining their front crawl and backstroke swimming techniques, as well as learning Breaststroke Swimming with proper form and rhythm.
During their swim lessons, children will spend time refining side breathing in their front crawl and practicing a high-elbow recovery. The focus is mainly on stroke improvement drills and exercises. Kids will gain confidence during swim lessons, improve their stroke, and gain additional aquatic skills.
Please arrive 10 minutes early for your scheduled class. We ask that you rinse off before entering the pool.
Cost: $90/ session (Session includes four 45-minute lessons. Must hold a current membership. This price does not include membership or parking fees.)
Dates: October 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29 (Every Tuesday & Thursday)
Time: 4:30 pm - 5:15 pm

All Children's Group Swim Lesson Participants must have a guardian who is a current SRWC member or a UNLV student. All Adult Group Swim Lesson Participants must have an SRWC Membership.
Memberships can be purchased at the front desk before the first lesson.
To access the facility, all members must have either a UNLV-issued Rebel Card or a Community Access Card. There is a one-time $20 fee for a Community Access Card. For more information, go to the Membership Options page at: https://www.unlv.edu/campusrec/membership
Parking is not included in our swim lesson fees. The most convenient parking is located in the Tropicana Parking Garage. This lot has signs to pay for parking via cell phone. There is also a free parking lot (lot S) about a 10-minute walk away. For other parking options, please visit UNLV parking website
